Forrester Consulting and SAP Hybris presents this infographic which has a look see at personalised marketing. It’s an area that most marketers do tend to struggle, inspite of the fact that about 66 percent of us say that its a great tool, because only 16% of us are able to “provide behavior-based marketing in real time across multiple channels.”
When looking at personalised marketing from the consumer point of view, about 37% delete without reading, and 40% feel they don’t get any interesting offers (i agree with both). So that means just just because you and I think it’s a great sword, doesn’t mean we are experts at fencing!!
